Rare varieties of iris marsh with violet-colored flowers with purple veins and center of dark purple and yellow. Reaches 90-110 cm in height, must be cultivated on moist soil or immersed for up to 10 cm.

Description

Iris pseudata 'Take No Sato' has violet-colored flowers with purple veins and center. It is a hybrid between Iris pseudacorus and Iris ensata. It has green leaves in the shape of a sword that depart from a creeping rhizome.

It should be grown in normal soil well watered, or by the lake, 20 cm of depth from the collar. Reaches 90-110 cm tall and prefers a position of full sun or partial shade.

Hybridized by Shimizu. Its name means "Village of Bamboo"
