Description

Nelumbo 'Red Lantern' is a variety of medium-sized lotus. Its Chinese name is Hong Denglong. Has double flowers, deep pink, white at the base. He was given this name because recalls Chinese lanterns. The leaves are deep green, water-repellent and diameter of 30cm. It reaches a maximum height of 60cm.
Be cultivated in Watertight Cases otherwise it becomes too intrusive in the pond. It is recommended for small to medium sized ponds.
