The Nelumbo 'Mrs. Perry Slocum 'is a dwarf cultivar of Sacred Lotus, which reaches a maximum height of 60 cm in shallow water. Has green leaves round with a diameter of 25 cm and fragrant flowers, large, cupped, 10 cm in diameter, formed by almost 100 petals of pink color that appear in summer by a long stem that often exceeds in height the leaves. The flower lasts three days, it opens in the morning and closes in the evening.
This variety is also suitable for small tubs and can be grown in a few cm of water.
This variety is very hardy, and can withstand up to - 30 ° C, as long as the ice does not affect the roots.
