Houttuynia cordata 'Chameleon' is a perennial herbaceous plant of the family Sauraceae that normally live in moist and slightly acidic soils in Central and South America. It has aromatic leaves conspicuously variegated green, yellow and deep pink red. If grown in full sun the predominant color is yellow-white, while if grown in full shade Partial shade tends to be more green. Good to cultivate in all wet areas, especially at the edge of the pond, possibly even slightly dipped but the growth will not be vigorous. Tolerates winter cold temperatures down to -25 ° C, recommended density: 7 plants per square meter.
