Description

Schoenoplectus lacustris are native marsh plants of Europe, belonging to the family Cyperaceae. They have brown rhizomatous roots and tall smooth stems up to 2 meters, cylindrical green; within them the tissue is spongy. The inflorescences are composed of a brown-colored spike that appear from June to August.
