Description

The Leucojum aestivum is a gracious and little known herbaceous perennial that blooms in early spring; high up to 60 cm. The leaves are up to 70 cm and narrow. The flowers are grouped into stems that carry up to 7 flower (tepals), pure white with a yellow-green spot at the end.
This plant is native to much of Europe, spread to Ireland from Ukraine to Turkey from 0 to 600 m altitude.
