The Iris x pseudata 'Ryugan' is a rare hybrid between Iris pseudacorus and Iris ensata. It consists of a creeping rhizome, sword-shaped leaves of green color. Between May and June produces an abundant blooming flowers light yellow with dark purple eye.
It can be planted up to 20 cm of depth from the surface of water or on moist soil; in full sun or partial shade and reaches 80 cm in height. Not sensitive to frost and tolerates temperatures down to - 20 ° C (Zone 6A).
