Description

Buttercup Water (Ranunculus lingua) is a native aquatic plant of Asia and Europe. It 'a herbaceous perennial plant consisting of a vertical creeping rhizome and erect stems large, hairless, and green color that tend to root at the nodes. The leaves are green, oblong-lanceolate, wide 1-2 cm long and up to 20 cm. In summer it produces golden-yellow flowers of 3-4 cm diameter on long stalks axillary opposed to the leaves. It should be placed in a sunny location in a maximum depth of 30 cm, in the shallow areas of the pond, neutral soil rich. Not sensitive to frost.
