Nymphaea 'James Brydon' has purplish red flowers, very intense, the diameter of 13 cm, the flower is made up of about 25-28 spoon petals.
He leaves in diameter 15-20 cm color brown purple with some light darker spot.
It occupies a space of 1 square meter and must be planted at a depth of 40 - 80 cm. This water lily is one of the oldest.

It tolerates partial shade and blooms positions even when the sky is overcast.

Bred by Dreer Nurseries in 1900. Probably from Nymphaea alba rubra.

On sale from April to October.
