Description

Nymphaea 'American Star', emerging star-shaped flowers of pale pink color. The flower measures 15-18 cm in diameter and is formed by about 30 petals. Nearly round leaves, with a diameter of 20-25 cm of reddish green color. It occupies a space of 1.20 cm and should be planted at a depth of 40 - 80 cm. Suitable for medium to large ponds.
Bred by Slocum (USA) 1985. Probably from Nymphaea 'Rose Arey' x?.
