Waterlily 'Perry's Baby Red' is a very floriferous varieties and produces a dark red cup-shaped flowers of only 8-9 cm in diameter that emerge a few cm from the water surface, the flower is made up of about 24-31 petals. He leaves color purple with a maximum diameter of 15 cm. It occupies a space of 75 cm square and must be planted at a depth of 30 - 50 cm. These small water lilies are great for small ponds also shallow.

This lily was probably obtained from the intersection of Nymphaea 'Alba Plenissima' and Nymphaea 'Atropurpurea' by Perry D. Slocum in 1989.
