Description

Bred by Marliac in 1880, the Water Lily 'Marliacea Alvida' (syn. Nymphaea 'Marliac White') has very simple white flowers of 12-15 cm in diameter cup sizes from 22 -24 petals. Its leaves are green with a rounded shape and can reach 23 cm in diameter.
It should be grown in full sun and can occupy a space of 1 - 1.2 square meters. It can be planted in a water depth ranging from 40 to 60 cm deep, it is of medium-large size.

One of the historic water lilies and the oldest as the date of hybridization.
