Description

Veronica beccabunga is an aquatic plant, hairless and smooth up to 20 cm. Fleshy leaves are dark green, shortly petiolate. The inflorescences of 10-20 hermaphrodite flowers bluish violet color more or less intense. The fruit is a capsule hairless, globular, slightly short of the cup. He lives in damp places, ditches with flowing water, springs, shores, wet soils for infiltration or spring water, well sunny in the plan up to 2500 meters.
